They may have wierd names, but Twitter and Flickr and pretty well known now.
as for ooVoo and Oooooc.com; im guessing they are targeting those people that type random things in google search. I have to imagine they get a few hits. They are still bad names, so I won’t defend them for that…

There are a few startups in Germany ending in …doo - such as swoodoo.com and a few others. If they ever go international, that naming will be fatal. Or can you imagine buying your flights from a site named “doo”? Reminds me of… dog doo, or something to that effect.
