Tripbase tells you where to vacation
Service May 21st, 2007Tripbase is a new service that suggest vacationing spots to you based on preferences you adjust using sliders. The service is currently in the alpha stage. While this service sports a flashy interface and sounds neat, it actually doesn’t serve much use other than suggestions. I mean, are you going to have a website tell you where to travel? Probably not; it’s all about where you wanna go. Also, you’re probably not likely to visit some place you’ve never heard of just because the computer thinks it’s good. But where Tripbase’s strong side starts to show is all the comprehensive data smashed in together. You can get pictures, articles, travel guides, information, amusements, dining, and quotes, for any city in the world all in one place.
